Founded in 2022 by Hamza from Marrakesh and Moataz from Tunisia, La Maison Tamurt celebrates the rich tradition of Berber rug-making through ethical collaboration with Moroccan artisans. Rooted in heritage and sustainability, each piece is handcrafted using time-honored techniques and natural materials, reflecting the landscapes and stories of Morocco. We exist to connect meaningful craftsmanship with those who value cultural authenticity, thoughtful design, and lasting quality.

Custom designs and sourcing available upon request. All rugs are ready to ship within 2 business days, with returns and exchanges accepted within Canada and the USA if notified within 14 days.

Symmetrical knots for durability and balance
Colors: Warm tones (red, orange, taupe) with neutral and cool accents (blue, grey, cream).
Dyes: Made from plant-based and mineral sources, natural dyes are eco-friendly and chemically bond with the wool fibers. This process ensures the colors are deeply embedded, resulting in rich, long-lasting hues that resist fading over time.
Texture: Firm handle with high-density plushness
Finishing: Hand-washed with water and soap, resulting in a soft, even surface
